Adult Specialty Classes

In addition to our over 120 free fitness classes, we offer these exciting fee based specialty classes. Fee based classes require registration through our front desk.

Intense Circuit Class

Pressed for time? This fast paced class gives a total-body workout. Basic and advanced strength training exercises are blended with exciting agility and balance exercises to optimize your time in the gym without putting too much stress on the joints. This class is held in "The Circuit Room" and instructed by Certified Personal Trainers. If you like to have someone motivate you, like a variety and want an efficient workout, this is the class for you. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

TRX Suspension Training

Suspension Training: bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. Your CORE will constantly be challenged to stabilize your movements against the forces of gravity.

Thursday 7:00-7:45 pm
(Maximum: 6 participants)

Session I: Mondays: 1/9 - 2/20 or Thursdays: 1/12 -2/23
Session II: Mondays: 2/27 - 4/10 or Thursdays: 3/2 - 4/13
Fee: $75.00 per 7 week session

Ballet

For over 50 years, NJ School of Ballet has provided top quality instruction for thousands of students. Classes are held at the Y in our beautiful ballet studio complete with proper flooring, mirrors and ballet bars. All levels. Fees vary. Co-Ed Volleyball

Jersey Club Sports runs and organizes both these co-ed leagues at the Y. Join fun loving, sports minded people for great games that anyone can play. The fun usually continues at a local pub.YMCA membership not required. Sign up as an individual or as a team.

Healthy Heart & Wellness program

This three month program is open to anyone but specifically designed for those who want to improve or maintain their heart health, whether or not they have had surgery or a cardiac event. Participants vitals are monitored closely and the class includes walking, light weights, flexibility and even some dancing to the big bands, swing and 1950s music. Registration required. Fee - $100 for 3 month program. $200 for non-members
