While these programs are open to all adults, we have found that they are especially helpful for our members looking for low-impact classes.

Arthritis Exercise Program

This class is designed to help participants improve joint flexibility and increase range of motion. With the guidance of a certified Arthritis Foundation instructor, you will learn exercises to maintain muscle strength, decrease pain and increase overall satmina.

Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:30-10:15 AM

Gentle Aqua

This is a low-impact pool workout led by a certified Arthritis Foundation instructor. The water allows you to exercise without stressing your joints. Participants engage in range of motion, stretching, breathing exercises and light aerobic activities.
Registration required. FREE with membership.

Tuesdays/Thursdays 9:00-9:45 AM

Tai Chi

This is a low-impact aerobic exercise that involves deliberate gentle movements, deep breathing and meditation. Tai Chi is believed to improve the flow of energy through the body, improving coordination, balance and flexibility. FREE with membership.

No registration required. Just drop in. Beginners most welcome.

Nia & 52 Moves Workout

Nia tones your mind and tunes your body. Each workout brings mindfulness to your dance movement experience leaving uou energized, mentally clear and emotionally balanced. NIA cardio-dance workouts combine 52 simple moves with dance arts, martial arts and healing arts to get you fit in 60 minutes-body, mind, spirit. NIA is practiced barefoot, non-impact and adaptable to individual needs and abilities. FREE with membership.
