Dear members,
It is bittersweet that we announce that our President and CEO, Carol Armour, has decided to retire effective July 31, 2021. Carol’s extensive career at the YMCA has spanned over 23 years, with many achievements and accomplishments in numerous areas. Carol’s tireless work ethic, business acumen, and ability to make tough decisions are some of the many reasons the Greater Morristown YMCA has a portfolio of four beautiful facilities and top-notch childcare programs at both the Richard F. Blake Children’s Center and Children’s Center, our center in Morristown for Morristown Medical Center employees. Carol’s accomplishments are far too great to list but it has been the Board’s immense pleasure to work closely with her.
We are pleased to announce that Trish Hall has been appointed as our new Executive Director, effective June 21, 2021. Previously Director of the Mendham Township Library, Trish and her family reside in Mendham. Please join us in congratulating Trish in her new role.
We wish Carol a wonderful retirement and we hope to continue to see her around at the Y!
